Dalton Trail Lodge

Stay in comfort
It might be out in the wilds, but Dalton Tail Lodge has every conceivable comfort. Each guestroom has its own bathroom with shower or bath. Its culinary reputation has spread well beyond the borders of the territory. And many times an angler has sat in the Lodge Bar recounting his own breathtaking encounter with the king of salmon! And there’s not only fishing on the agenda. The Lodge has a tennis court, billiard table and table football. And if you prefer a quiet corner, you can relax in front of the log fire in the Living Room or enjoy a good book in the Lodge Library. The entire Lodge is built of cedar and has a warm and homely atmosphere.

Trix, Hardy and Thomas
Thanks to their wealth of experience, whether it’s on the river bank or in caring for their guests, Trix, Hardy and Thomas are the specialists for fishing in the far North. They know where, when and what to catch – and how to make your stay an unforgettable experience with their warm hospitality.

Dine in style
Only very few accommodations in the Yukon can compare with the Dalton Trail Lodge – an offically registered four-star lodge with gourmet cuisine (Canada Select).

Your day begins with a hearty breakfast: home-baked bread, fresh fruit, cereals, cheese and sliced meats, and traditional eggs and bacon. Lunch is not generally taken in the Lodge, guests are provided with a tasty lunchbox, and should you want to eat your freshly caught fish, the Lodge supplies you with all the necessary cooking utensils.

The several course supper is always a culinary highlight. Steak, lamb and fish are the chef’s specialities, and are accompanied by a rich choice of fresh salads from the buffet. The Lodge’s well-stocked wine cellar offers the finest vintages from California, Australia and Chile. You can also have your day’s catch prepared for you at supper. Just hand it in to our chef and ask him to serve it as your first or main course.
